Hambleton District Council supports Kevin Sinfield's Ultra 7 in 7 Challenge
Hambleton District Council welcomes Kevin Sinfield OBE to the district as he crosses the finish line of the fourth leg of his Ultra 7 in 7 challenge and acknowledges the enormity of the challenge he has set himself. We encourage you to head down to North Riding Football Association in Stokesley on 16 November, and cheer Kevin on!
Former Great Britain and England Rugby Player Kevin Sinfield OBE takes on his epic Ultra 7 in 7 Challenge next week that will see him cover nearly 40 miles per day for 7 consecutive days before finishing on the pitch at Old Trafford at half time in the mens Rugby World Cup Final on Saturday 19 November.
The week long challenge inspired by his former team mate Rob Burrow, Doddie Weir and Stephen Darby aims to raise awareness and funds for five charities which support people affected by Motor Neurone Disease, and invest in research to bring us closer to effective treatments and cure for the disease.
On the 16 November at 3:30pm Kevin will be finishing Day 4 of his Ultra 7 in 7 challenge at North Riding Football Association in Stokesley. He will then depart on day 5 of the challenge at 6:57am on 17 November from the same venue.
Official route
Day 4 Leg: Chester-Le-Street to Stokesley (16 November). Finishing at 3:30pm at North Riding Football Association, Broughton Road, Stokesley.
Day 5 Leg: Stokesley to York (17 November). Depart North Riding Football Association, Broughton Road, Stokesley at 6:57am.

Supporters are encouraged to head to North Riding Football Association and cheer him on as he crosses the finish line on day 4, or as he departs on day 5. It would be great to get as many people down as possible to support Kevin and/or to donate to a great cause.
